Surfin SL
So lately I've been surfing more in SL. Until I get my new board (yup, have it picked already - Aipa Conventional Swallowtail) in RL, surfin in SL is the next best thing. Dreamer & I have tried a couple different places - Surf City & West of Ireland. I love the waves at Epic Conditions Surf but the beach is full of blingtards & always turns into a weapon testing ground. Surf in Chi is always nice & the sim is always full of the most friendly peeps in SL.

I have a bunch of video ideas, one was a Pro-Macarena Campaign but that's been put on the back burner for a bit because I'm so thinking of bringing celtic to the masses. Give me time, this one may actually come to fruition. :p The key word there is: may! :D

Bloggity Funk
I haven't been in a huge blogging mOOd lately. I'm not sure why but I guess I don't have much to say. Hawks has mentioned before that our time was shortened and right now it's more so. It's only temporary but gosh I miss him. So rather than being pouty & spewing my OH LAWD I MISS MY BABY-isms all over the blog, I stay quiet. Besides I really do want to get back to making videos, I miss that too.

I guess that's pretty much my update. :p Stay tuned for more videos & if time/imagination allows an "I, Mannequin" story.

I, Mannequin - Day 1

For anyone selected to stand on the Mannequin stands in Reaction, here is some more info about them.
You will be paid L$35 an hour. The stands are scripted a lot like camping chairs, and automatically calculated a wage equal to how long you've been standing for.
While on the stands, you'll need to wear the Reaction Group tag that you'll be invited to, if not, the stand will automatically kick you off.
You'll need to wear my clothes while on the stands, otherwise it defeats my purpose of having them.
Don't abuse the stands, by getting a script to allow you to leave your computer running, and stand on the stands for 5 days straight, taking all my money, and not allowing any of the other selected people to pose. If you are found to abuse them, you'll be kicked off them, and kicked from the group.
Girls need to stay on the girls stands, while guys need to stay on the guys.
It's up to you to talk to customers, and it's also up to you if you want to help them out by showing them specific outfits.
I expect you to have a decent shape and skin too, no freak n00bs with no skin, and completely whacked proportion. If your still interested, let me know and I'll get you started. If you have any questions, feel free to IM me. Radical Twang. Cheers.

Downtime Tomorrow

Second Life will be down for updates again on Wednesday 22 August from 9am 8am to 11am SLT (US Pacific). Lots of changes are going in for first stage of the Heterogenous Grid, and some of these changes can't be undertaken in a rolling restart. Not and still have the grid, you know, work for the duration.

This update is completely independent of any viewer versions that may be running around. One does not require the other.

Don't Hate, y0

I was going to write my response to my friends post, but in the middle of doing so I was im'd by someone I use to be close to. This made me rethink my post and head a tote different direction with it but I think it will still mesh well with the point I was going to make.

A bit into our convo he asked me "Where's the Jelly hate?" This made me think for a second. He was right, where the fuck did my hate go? Have I found my zen? My chi? Should I have attacked him for trying to start a convo with me just because it was him? Nah, just because more than one time he's suffered from Jekyll/Hyde syndrome doesn't mean that he doesn't deserve a... a... a... fifth(?) chance. No, it's not even that. Iunno. I've changed, I guess. I'm not sure if it's that I'm more forgiving (hears angels sing) or if it's that I just don't give a shit anymore.

I'm going with the don't give a shit theory. I'm not a fool & just cause I can cool my attitude that was prominent before does not mean I won't still jump your shit. I just need to justify it to myself now. Why? Mostly because I think before I act now, mostly. I asked a friend last night why do people make me feel like I'm broken? She told me that I'm not broken but I LET others make me think I am. Then she went on to quote Eleanor Roosevelt - No one can make you feel inferior without your consent (I had this at the bottom of my profile once). This is so true.

Anywho, my main fixation last night was missing my hatred but it went like this:
