Pigs in Space!

Hopefully at least one person gets that reference. Haha! I cracked myself up with it. :p If you haven't heard yet, Aley Arai has her very own sim. Who is Aley Arai, you ask? Well, she is a super genius, of course. She makes full immersion sci-fi things using megaprims, sculptys, and super detailed custom textures to keep the prims a fraction of whats out there. She doesn't sell anything, and says "if the art rules your whole life and everything else is just *filler* you know what i'm on about :)"

Hawks & I went and checked out her sim - Privateer Space, on a recommendation of Alex. It's going to be developed into a huge super immersion silly sci-fi playland for everyone. a non commercial venture. The philosophy for Privateer Space is basically *nothing thats a commonality in SL will ever be here*(i.e no shops, no malls, no campers, not even a sim donation jar, no advertisements, no signs, no billboards, no clubs, no PR0n! and the only bots are actual prim robots :D). So if you are a real explorer, this is one sim you really need to go checkity check. Yes, Chestnut, I mean YOU. :p

I am a Space Pirate there, so don't fook with me if you see me, I'm heavily armed thanks to Aley. :D No, actually, please fook with me. That might be funner.

Oh and the sim is open to any AV type that can confirm to a PG sim (i.e. no mutilated babys or nakkie peoples). "Lots of the RPG sims have strict AV rules that amount to out right racism," according to Aley. Her sim is different.

Weird aliens welcomed and encouraged but no eating the visitors. The sim is 100% physics vehicle friendly and more spaceships will soon be out for people to play with. Anyone can bring their own, only an issue if there way to huge.

Go visit Aley's sim Privateer Space and if you see her, tell her HAI and that JellyBean & Hawks sent ya. :)

Meez Tringo?!

I thought hmmmm why not try out tringo.com? It should be a site, right? What do ya know it took me to Meez. How cool is that? If you don't have a meez yet, you so need one. Tringo is a great reason for it too. :p

Day O'Fun

As soon as Hawks & I logged in this morning... his plan was to take turns for a day o'fun. No blogs, no stress, no crap all day. Well, it has been fun - even though Tiny Empires, impromptu visitations & blogs did get involved. We're type A people, ya know. We can try to plan a day to relax but ya know it's not all that relaxing if you gotta work at it. :p The idea was that each of us take turns picking a place to go, we stay there til one or both of us were funned out or bored... Then we'd say "Switch!"

Things we did:

• Played pool @ home
  
• Played lots of games at the MIA Boardwalk Amusement Park
• Checked out Google Island (IT SUCKETH - filled with banlines)
• Went to the FAC club
  
• Checked out Adec's gallery
• Sat at home under our tree for a talk.
  
• Played Tringo at Mystikal
  
• Played Reversi (I don't get it) and Quoste at the Diversionarium
• Rooftop danced in Midnight City
• Attempted to race our vehicles but played with guns (with Chelle & Raver) instead.
  
• Crashed a birthday party & listened to Max! Wuwu!
• Hung with Aka.

And then....
Hawks took a nap. :p

The day isn't over yet. We still have tringo with Dreamer at 12 SLT (Hawk's Tringo). That is *if* Hawks wakes up from his nap in time this week. :p

Didn't see it coming...

Rosie attacked me - that betch! We fought tooth & nail (she broke one)! That'll teach me to be such a braggart, huh?

I was just sitting outside admiring the crisp, clean virtual air when BAM! She flys off my hammock & tosses me to the ground! She grabbed my left foot & dragged me at least 5 feet trying to pull my boot off. I curled my toes trying desperately to keep them on my feet. She was an animal, I tell ya. Purely insane - I saw it in her eyes!

So after she beat me up, ganked my boots, and left me in tears... I did what any sensible person would do in my sitch - I told Akasha! You're in big trouble now Rosie Shawk!!!!

There's No Such Thing As Natural Beauty!

We work hard at it, damn it. :p Yesterday as soon as I logged in Laylah & Rosie whisked me off to Costa Luna Isles Resort & Spa [Surf, dancing, dining, swimming, hang gliding, jet ski, suite rentals, and so much more! Escape to paradise!] where we spent the majority of our morning being virtually pampered until Lala left & Rosie had to go.

This place was so complete all the way down to avocado masks & mineral baths, massages & manicures, cheese & wine. If you have an hour to kill it's well worth the explore. As soon as SL is back up I'll put the SLURL.

Case of the Mundays

Hawks returned from his long weekend yesterday & I couldn't be happier. Now stop doing that! kkthnx! That would be the reason for the one post yesterday. It's always easy to tell when he's gone a'missin because I go crazy stupid with posting. When he's back though, I spend a lot less time blogging and more time inworld doing stuff with him. We're now on 5 months together & every day is just as interesting as the first. :)

Cierra's at the Beach
"Cierra's at the Beach" is officially open for business at The Shops at La Bahia - Featuring Turtle Bay, Cierra's, Flynn's, Namiko, Wrong, and Reaction. The new build is awesome & located right on my favorite surfable beach in all of SL... La Bahia. Cierra is one freaking fabulous person that I don't seem to ever find enough time to spend with. I'm really working on a remedy to that. Anywho, if you need a new stick, surfwear, beachy furniture or anything water/pool/beach/lake/summer related... You need to shop here. It's a one-stop shop for all of your sunshiney happy day needs.

Feeling Festive?
Devilish Cupcake is having a Halloween Treasure Hunt now until October 31st. Look for 13 Spooky Cupcakes that are scattered throughout the sim. This hunt was brought to us by Analise, Devilish Cupcake, Frustrated Inc. and Infernal. Rosie dragged us (Aka & I) all over last night & it was actually really fun. I carved a pumpkin, rode a broomstick merry-go-round, and frolicked in the corn with my girls. Every cupcake is filled with goodies. So if you've got an hour to kill, do it here. New @ Pillow Talk
Sandy has done it again... given us yet another way to be close. A few weeks ago Sandy Clymer of Pillow Talk released a single person tire swing. It was & is absolutely adorable with smooth very well done poses in it. However, swinging is much more fun with a friend or your significant other. Took her awhile but she finally made the couples tire swing. It works for one or for two ;) She's also released new fall trees to sit and play in, as well. You can find them scattered about the sim, on the ground level. Thanks again Sandy. :)

JH Productions Movie Studio
Aka must of worked her purple tush off last night after I went to bed. Hawks & I logged in to a movie studio set, erected (haha I said erected!) office building, small pond & an apple tree. The textures are so perfect. As it stands now, there's like 8 floors in the office building. A little overkill mayhaps. We possible only need like 4-5. I'm very very excited about decorating my office. How ya feel about pink, baby? Kidding

Okay that's all I have for ya by way of update. I need to get the TE announcement posted. :)

Heroes Reminder

These are the new set of 10 retro shirts with prim attachments for that extra something something from Artilleri. They come with a prim collar and prim sleeves. One of the prim sleeves has a cigarette pack tucked into it, but included is one without it for all the non-smokers out there. The prims are big because yes, it is a guys shirt. The good news is they are completely mod. Yay! Another plus is that Antonia Marat is still a people-person, meaning that these are transferrable. Yup, so buy some for your sexy man while you're there buying em for yourself. Thank you Antonia.

Pillow Talk - Personal Pillows
These pillows allows you to sit anytime anywhere, even in no build areas. Just click to wear it. It will attach to your right hand. You can adjust the positioning of the pillow while you are wearing it. Just right click on it, and choose edit. Select 'position' from the edit window, and move your pillow to your desired position. New from Craig Altman
The Fireside Toast Animation is the newest release from Bits and Bobs animations. Its a 1 minute length laying toasting animation, it was a suggestion by Amethyst DeFarge as a wedding type thing, anyway its at the Main Store and the new one placed with the other wedding sets if anyone fancies a look. I just bought this tonight but plan on testing it out with Hawks tomorrow.

Is that all you got?

I have two prized possessions in SL - one being Hawks & the other being my Starax wand. I know I've talked about my wand numerous times. Rofl Don't worry I'm not going all into the logistics of my love of Starax, the wand, or conspiracy theories.

Instead we're talking about the smell of freshly fired ammo, bullets whizzing by your head, smoke clouding your eyes, the sounds of your own heart beating as you're pumped with adrenaline - basically TANK WARS! The tanks are standard Starax wand issue and can be dropped virtually anywhere for you & your friends to share. Sadly, you have to know someone with a wand to play as you can no longer acquire a wand of your own. I prefer tank wars in a flat sim or somewhere with wide open spaces & NO sim crossing.

Recently some friends of Hawks & I purchased an island sim. Yesterday we went to check it out. The first thing I thought was Dominus! Hawks whipped his out & I whipped out my Ragnarok 07. We played for a bit & then Hawks remmied - TANKS! Oy vey! He's so brilliant! It wasn't long before we decided to invite others. More tanks, more battling. I, of course got blown out of my tank more times than I'd like to own up to.

Hawks is a fierce fighter, he is. After being ejected from my tank over & over and watching him leave dazed & confuzzled people in his wake, I let out a sigh. Will anyone ever take Hawks out? That's a challenge I'd bet on - oops I mean - nm Shup LL! After battle after battle I watched Hawks & Lance go at it. The battles grew longer & they raced from sim edge to sim edge, round & round the mound... and in the very last battle - LANCE BLEW HAWKS UP!

Sorry baby I had to add that. :p

I'm sure soon our friends will begin building on their sim, but the next time we have Tank Wars, be afraid, very afraid... we may tp you. :p

Starting with my new hat! Omg! I love hats, even more now that I've fingered out the secret to hair vs. hat (thats another post). This Bowler hat is from Tesla. Oh oh, the plethora of head topping goodness just doesn't end in that store.
0 Style *Lemon* Hair
I already had a couple styles from 0 Style I bought awhile back when the store was tiny. I'm so glad I took a second look today. I love this Lemon Style and it works with all the hats I bought today. :p If you have to use search, try 'Zero Style'.

Candy Faces by Chicanery
I saw this last night on Fashion Victim and showed to Dreamer. I didn't have time to get them last night but Dreamer loves me. I logged into a folder of 3 Candy Faces from my Buttercup. :) These are new at Chicanery. I have Aches, Bruise & Sprain (pictured). They are the cutest lil dolls. If you've never been to Chicanery, I'm sorry. :( I love this store... full of toys, dolls, playground springs, the pack of the missing backpack, avatars, amusements and oddities. Don't forget to fuck an avocado while you're there and don't forget to take pics. :o

NippleGate Shirts for Your Protesting Pleasure
Okay I agree with Dinee on this one. This is getting out of control, BUT the shirts are free, FREE Dinee. *cheesily grins while wagging her finger at the crowd* I agree SL is an art form inside itself. I do think that the artists have kind of lost perspective here if it's come down to shirts with "Vic, do not touch on our nipples" and "Nipples Are Art" printed on the reverse. It could be a lot worse though. Honestly. Vint has said a lot on the subject as well. That's where I heard about this shirt. It's free on SLexchange so you can get yours too. I did get them for 2 reasons... 1. they're free and a piece of SL history 2. I couldn't build my way out of a paper bag let alone be an artist, this is a way I can show my support. So it kind of makes me seem hypocritical but in my head, it makes sense.

The Toxic Garden is beautiful--but deadly to avatars.

Wander one of the most interesting and exotic gardens in SL--but at your own risk. The plants have accessed the grid and now want to keep human life away.

Apparently people tried to settle this area around time of World War 1. However only a few traces of that attempt at establishing a utopia remain. Only the plants with sumptuous flowers and enticing fruits are here to tell the story of the Toxic Garden.

When I first became a DJ back in the TSO days, I was known as the "80's DJ". Gosh, for the longest time that's all I did & I loved it! Well yesterday I put a dance bracelet together for Hawks with all the new male Sine Wave dances just released. Rosie, Aka, Dreamer & I took that baby for a test drive while I picked up stream & kicked it old school. Almost 2 hours of Tone Loc, JJ Fad, MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, Newcleus, Marrs, Salt N Pepa, 69 Boyz, etc and we were funkin' it out. I have the set recorded if ya'll feel like uploading it or listenin'.

Anyways I wanted to wait for Hawks to return to film the male dances but I have a feeling there will be no time for that during our reunion. :p So that means ya'll would be waiting awhile. I didn't do any fancy smancy stuff so take that in consideration when you watch this. Haha! This was just me & my 3 girl friends having fun & not all dances are shown. You can checkity check them for yourselves at Sine Wave Island just under the blue NEW signage. Sine Wave dances are transfer, just like Animazoo and make great gifts. Especially if you make a full dancer. :)
