Hai guise! Sorry for the MIA-ness. Life as we know it has been uber crazy lately. Hawks is working under cover with the *agency I cannot name* and I got a job as a pimp on the corner of Mass & 8th. It's hard work I tell you what.

In all seriousness though... we have slowly but surely been working behind the scenes here at the Stew gathering our fav moments and starting work on the new blog. I'm hoping by next week we shall have our post up here linking you to the new wholesome goodness completely made with love and super hot key strokes. Oh yeahhhh baby! Just like that.

Got lost along the way...

I completely meant to blog today but was sidetracked by Pirates. So I'm just now getting around to it. Sorry if you feel neglected or disappointed by my actions. Seems there's a lot of that going around.

It's nice to take a break from RL & even SL to fire canons, go all stabbity on people, and pet swamp alligators with long rusty swords. Arrrr! Matey! Besides Hawks likes to play with my booty & we got Aka along for the ride. She likes to watch. Savvy, mate?

Okay so I don't have much to blog about other than this week will be busy. I apologize in advance for not lowering taxes in TE as often as I'd like to.

As always, TMI Tuesday will be happening and we'll (or *I*) will blog about that tomorrow or Tuesday morning as a friendly reminder. :)

We've finally set our roots down in our new place. It's snowy now but I swear it's an island & waterfront-ish. :D I suck at terraforming so this will have to do until Aka shows up & wonders why the heck her "perfection sense" is tingling. :p

We're still working on surf footage for ritch Goalpost. If everything comes together this week, we should be done by this coming weekend. Wuwu! In between I've been kinda working on "Rosie Shark - The Documentary." Just for fun. Good times, good times! :)

~Half of our post still doesn't have power. They had to move some residents over here into our community. My youngest son's school was so thrashed by the storm, he hasn't had school since Tuesday.

So like Hawks & I have been uber frantic trying to get the SLSA video up & rolling, meanwhile trying to juggle our real life schedules. Bring on the weekend! Oh yah, I would like to officially declare tomorrow PJ Day. I wanted to do that today but I have a dentist appointment at my 1 p.m. Anyroo... in honor of my pending root canal & extraction [in 50 min] Jell sported her braces today. Just look at that shiny grill, yO.

Also... no matter how bleak life seems to get, no matter how many verbal poundings you take in daily, just know there is always a silver lining. Sometimes you just have to squint really hard to see it, but it's there. :D

Lazy Daze

So my RL schedule hasn't been very nice to me. Seems like when I am inworld, Hawks & I are either catching up, or I'm standing alone somewhere drooling on my shoes wondering what I am *suppose* to be doin.

The good news is YAY! In one month and 2 days I'll be going to see my Akasha in RL for a few days and taking care of some business on the mainland. A lot of things are changin' and well, sometimes we just gotta keep moving forward.

Hawks & I were hired to do a video this week & it looks like we'll be doing it tomorrow. Wuwu! Please remind me to tell Hawks that, thanks. :p [thank you Cierra & Flynn :)]

Other than that, ummm I did actually request Tuesdays off so I could go back to DJ'n, but the big boss apparently felt I should have Fri-Sat instead.

Stew Strike!

Hai Guise! Remmy me? I was trying to be on a blog strike until Hawks wrote something, but as it pans out... he has been forgiven for not getting one done today. Anywho this won't be a long post because I am just physically & emotionally drained. I just have a few things to mention...

• Tuesday's Clockwork - Due to my RL work schedule being so very unpredictable, I will no longer be able to dj at Clockwork. I'd love to request Tuesdays off but it's very unlikely I'd get em off. So with uber sad face, I think it's only fair to everyone, that I don't try to commit.
• Tiny Empires - Big, huge, stupendous news... At approximately 2 a.m. SLT time I ascended from Princess to Queen. We are the Kingdom of Mayhapsibly. Taxes are now a whooping 0%, enjoy poppets but know this means I am now paying your taxes to the Emperor. Special titles cost 16.9 million in gold so don't count on those to come quickly. :D Also to clarify one more thing... I just wanna make sure everyone understands... A word of caution... I have RL work, the need for sleepage, and the 0% tax only lasts 5 TE years (2 hours, 40 minutes), so it'll default to 25% when I'm offline (still lower than what you were paying) but will stay that way til I get online inworld to reset it to 0. Prior you were paying 42% for comparison purposes. Congrats family, you've earned this!
• Missin Bean - I've got like 256466464646787874 things going on in RL at the moment that will be keeping me sorta MIA in SL but no worries. I am always reachable via IM, notecard, Yahoo, etc. Or you can always drop Hawks an IM.

I don't care what any one says... The sun was shining thru the gloomy clouds, birds were chirpin, & angels sung as I opened my eyes today, okay so mayhaps it was a dream I had just before my alarm went off at 630 a.m. Whatever. Nothing and I mean nothing is going to bring me down today. Not whispers of scandals, not credit lines being down, not chauvinistic pigs that think a girl can't pick wiper blades, not the fact that SL cannot currently log me in, nothing!

I do however have some bad news. Hawks & I will not be dj'ing at Clockwork tonight. :( We both have RL obligations that we have to attend to. Hopefully we'll be back there next week doing our groove thang.

Okay a few things to cover...

Tiny Empires - I've thrown it out there... I'm looking for *our* Kingdom name. I asked everyone to drop me a notecard with what they think we should go with. I'm sorta leaning towards The Kingdom of Mayhapsibly (sounds positive, upbeat & like anything can happen & be achieved). :p

Stay Video - I posted way back when that I wanted to do a video for "Stay" by Lisa Loeb, I haven't chucked this idea yet. I'm still working out how I want to get it done. I put off stuff to get the JH Report done but now I think I can work on this. With Hawks getting his machinima feet I think we'll be able to do more now.

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay you to do it?

Yesterday was my day off... Woohoo! I don't blog about RL much cause it's taboo, but screw it. All I have to talk about is work since that's where I spend the most of my time now. First off, I kinda like my job, there's a few co-irkers that I could care less about working with but overall it's pretty okay. Five years ago, before SL, working was different. I was shy, quiet for the most part & just did my job. Here it is years later & I think JellyBean was unleashed on the world of retail sales. The first couple of days I thought mayhaps I was talking too much and was ready for someone to tell me to shup. That was until I met my co-irker, Bob. Now I know for a fact that I could never possibly talk as much as Bob, ever. Anywho, in a nut shell, I put in 40 hours last week & it looks like that'll be my norm. Less SL sucks but it feels good to be out & about.

Okay so on to SL stuff...

I have a to-do list like a mile long. Since time has been limited now, I find that I'm doing more of what I wanna do instead of what I need to do. RP at KSU is fun, I'm loving the classes that I can make it to. The homework sounded exciting at first, I can't get myself to really think when it comes to writing a paper on the "Socratic Method". I swear it's on my To-Do list, it's just #4 at the moment.

Hawks & I are very slowly but surely still working on the JH Report. This will be longer than normal & with me not being able to dedicate straight hourage to it, it's taking a bit longer.

On top of all that I need to get my MGG2SL post done as well as my Diary, but ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Okay priorities...

Two days... Two farking days & no fresh slow cooked verbal stew! *gasp* I've been busy. Way busy. As I have mentioned before I've gone back to work. I didn't think it'd kick my ass the way it has. Anywho... too much RL. bleh.

So when I have been in SL, I've been spending it at KSU and I've been keeping up on my diaries but not too much. Then of course Hawks & I sported our CSI NY attire & made use of our mad top notch detectives skillz...

Okay no really, we suck. Haha! We were both wrong so thank goodness we'll get more crimes to solve, right? We're positive we can hit the nail on at least one of them.

Hawks' First Days @ KSU
Hawks really wanted college to have more of a purpose & more substance. I have to say I agree. I was hoping that even though the roleplay is fun, learning something at the same time would be kick ass. The other night after he went to bed I was working to get some of the best people I know to start teaching. Hurrah for Professors March & Burgess. Hawks has moved into the Green Hall & shares a room with a roomie he has yet to meet. lol
Since Hawks & I decided that we'd be strictly RP on KSU campus, I can't say that I wasn't a bit worried that I'd have to choke a bitch, I mean the girl to guy ratio at KSU is pretty high. Yah, he's mine. Don't make me cut you. kkthnx.
I have discontinued blogging my diaries here on the stew & moved them over to the KSU Diaries blog for my strict roleplay, rather than confuse it here.

Just a little info on the writers over there, cause there are 8 of us. Of course you know me (duh), Rosie & Aka from MGG2SL, Aly Shark - long time best friend to Rosie who is just recently getting back into SL, Tiana Meriman is a friend & fellow blogger who has decided to teach Visual Arts at KSU, Bells Semyorka is a sorority pledge & freshman that lives in the Red Hall across from me, Glad Kidd is a freshman as well as Aka's roomate in the Red Hall just trying to find her place at KSU, and Arwen Hykova is a freshman, stand up comic, resident nut job bent on taking over the world. :p I'm excited about writing with all of them. It'll be a great experience. :)

JH Productions - "Stay" Video
While I wait *taps foot* on the ideas, scripts & concepts from the JH Production writers *coughs Hawks & Harlan* I've been thinking up side projects to entertain & challenge myself. Currently I'm working on the Lisa Loeb "Stay" video which won't need a casting call this time. I love making music videos, probably because I'm part of the MTV generation (when music videos were on MTV). I have a couple others in my head that will require peeps... My music videos in my head so far are:

It's that time again... Hawks & my sets at Clockwork in Topgol from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. SLT. JH Productions - In Between
We are currently working on the Tank Girl video with a twist of lemon & lime. But in between a big video, and by that I mean - scripts, scenes, crazytalk, audacity, major work... I like to throw out lil videos which require little to no huge production. That's where my next post will continue...

Irrational exuberance!

So Hawks & I need a sectional sofa for the 3rd floor (our office) at JH Productions. We searched high & low today but couldn't find one we really liked. Mayhaps we're picky. Okay... rephrasing that, mayhaps *Hawks* is really really picky. :p We're looking for a medium sized corner sectional to fit in a cozy corner. Preferably black, deep red or a combo of the two. It must look comfy & not like boxes/prims slapped together. Like a plush sectional couch. Poses are not necessary as we can just add our own. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Okay on to other stuffies still JH Productions related. Actually - pics cause Yay it's done except some minor furnishings.

Case of the Mundays

Hawks returned from his long weekend yesterday & I couldn't be happier. Now stop doing that! kkthnx! That would be the reason for the one post yesterday. It's always easy to tell when he's gone a'missin because I go crazy stupid with posting. When he's back though, I spend a lot less time blogging and more time inworld doing stuff with him. We're now on 5 months together & every day is just as interesting as the first. :)

"Cierra's at the Beach" is officially open for business at The Shops at La Bahia - Featuring Turtle Bay, Cierra's, Flynn's, Namiko, Wrong, and Reaction. The new build is awesome & located right on my favorite surfable beach in all of SL... La Bahia. Cierra is one freaking fabulous person that I don't seem to ever find enough time to spend with. I'm really working on a remedy to that. Anywho, if you need a new stick, surfwear, beachy furniture or anything water/pool/beach/lake/summer related... You need to shop here. It's a one-stop shop for all of your sunshiney happy day needs.

Feeling Festive?
Devilish Cupcake is having a Halloween Treasure Hunt now until October 31st. Look for 13 Spooky Cupcakes that are scattered throughout the sim. This hunt was brought to us by Analise, Devilish Cupcake, Frustrated Inc. and Infernal. Rosie dragged us (Aka & I) all over last night & it was actually really fun. I carved a pumpkin, rode a broomstick merry-go-round, and frolicked in the corn with my girls. Every cupcake is filled with goodies. So if you've got an hour to kill, do it here. Don't forget to check out the costumes in the Haunted House.

New @ Pillow Talk
Sandy has done it again... given us yet another way to be close. A few weeks ago Sandy Clymer of Pillow Talk released a single person tire swing. It was & is absolutely adorable with smooth very well done poses in it. However, swinging is much more fun with a friend or your significant other. Took her awhile but she finally made the couples tire swing. It works for one or for two ;) She's also released new fall trees to sit and play in, as well. You can find them scattered about the sim, on the ground level. Thanks again Sandy. :)

JH Productions Movie Studio
Aka must of worked her purple tush off last night after I went to bed. Hawks & I logged in to a movie studio set, erected (haha I said erected!) office building, small pond & an apple tree. The textures are so perfect. As it stands now, there's like 8 floors in the office building. A little overkill mayhaps. We possible only need like 4-5. I'm very very excited about decorating my office. How ya feel about pink, baby? Kidding

Okay that's all I have for ya by way of update. I need to get the TE announcement posted. :)

What to do?

Today is my full Hawkless day & I woke up way to damned early. It's a good thing too, since the Trader decided to come at 530 a.m. my time. WTF?! Anywho, I started work on my vid. Yay me! Only problem is that I have 1 min worth of footage & a 3 min 20 sec song. Doh! I'm stuck. I'm debating on scrapping it & starting a new one with a different song. We'll see.

I'm getting just a little backlash from my Truth in Hair post on MGG2SL. It always seems like whenever I post something, I always think the flaming will be worse than it is. Most of the time people agree with me, other times the commenters are idiots that are easily blown off. In this case, idiots works. I read the comments but rarely respond because I just find it stupid to argue with anonymous people. I have the backbone to voice my opinion without hiding, any one else that can't do the same isn't worthy of me responding. Oh Jelly, you're a bitch! *I* know! It's just how I DEW!

I have no idea what is on my agenda today. I know I def need to write the Tiny Empires post. So I'll be doing that in a few, I'm sure. There's nothing new in bloglines that's screaming "BUY ME" or anything even remotely interesting. Oh there's that Armidi sim opening that I'll probably go to, though I'm not as wet over it as every other fash blogger, fashionista or clothes whore. New hair will be nice. :)

Turning Gears

Oi! I definitely do not wanna post about Tiny Empires this post... Sooo let me give an update on what's been happening.

Tringo
Tringo has currently been dismantled for the time being. We are moving to a new plot that will be a lot better on a Class 5 sim. The land won't be available for at least 4 days. We'll let you know when we're back up & running.

JH Productions
Hawks & I have decided to go full speed on this as a major project. As we are already in the process of moving tringo, we've also pulled in the best of the best & we're working on the official JH Productions headquarters/offices. I think this is a great thing. Of course Hawks gets full credit for the idea but jinkies... I'm so freaking excited about working with some very talented peeps side by side with Hawks. Mwah babe!

So like I really need to get back to doing the Surf Reports, really? I feel like I haven't surfed in weeks. Okay, that's probably very true. I haven't. I have been so wrapped up in Tiny Empires that I think I've let other stuff slide.

On top of that I've had the video bug. Each idea getting bigger & more difficult in my head. It use to be easy... I film, I edit & boom out the same day. Viola! I'm not a very patient person. Now I'm taking more time with my vids. Trying to plan them out in my head, on a storyboard & then work out the details taking a week or two in edit. Currently I have one I have to edit for Sabine McGettigan. I never film for others, but this was my way to participate in Burning Life 07. Hopefully I can get to that tomorrow.

Anywho, if I just seem incoherent lately, it's not cause I am ignoring you... I'm just uber busy. I promise a Tiny Empires update tomorrow, kay? Mwah!
