We just recently said good-bye to our studios, offices & tringo. Sadly the sim we were on was sold to a couple that decided they wanted to turn it into Toon Town. That's great for them, but our studios do not fit in Toon Town. As it turns out we "were not willing to conform." Well duh dumb dumb. We're adults & act as such, most of the time.

We've moved...

*Home Sweet Brrrrr Home*
We've finally set our roots down in our new place. It's snowy now but I swear it's an island & waterfront-ish. :D I suck at terraforming so this will have to do until Aka shows up & wonders why the heck her "perfection sense" is tingling. :p

We're still working on surf footage for ritch Goalpost. If everything comes together this week, we should be done by this coming weekend. Wuwu! In between I've been kinda working on "Rosie Shark - The Documentary." Just for fun. Good times, good times! :)


*Rain, rain and more rain forecast for Hawaii*
Today looks to be another wet one, according to the National Weather Service. We can expect widespread showers today which are expected to taper off the rest of the weekend, forecasters said.
Trade winds are expected to make their return by the middle of the new week, concentrating what rainfall there is on the northeast slopes of all islands.

Here's how today is shaping up:

Today: Scattered showers and thunderstorms before 9 a.m., then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 9 a.m. and noon, then showers likely, mainly between noon and 3 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. Southwest wind between 9 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

~Half of our post still doesn't have power. They had to move some residents over here into our community. My youngest son's school was so thrashed by the storm, he hasn't had school since Tuesday.

JH Productions - for hire

Well Jell and I have been doing quite a few film projects for ourselves, for our friends, or just to try to make a point about something in a fun way through the JH reports -- all under the umbrella of our JH productions tag. We are now entering a new era for JH productions, that of capitalistic endeavor.

We were approached out of the blue by Portia Roelofs to film a promotional vid for her to assist with her Rock the Vote campaign for SLSA (Second Life Surfing Association). We settled on a price, and then busted out a vid. No sooner had we finished the vid for her, than we started receiving additional requests to film vids for other peeps. After some discussion with Jell, we have decided to test the commercial waters and see how far we can take this lil venture. Our goal's are modest to begin with, I would like to be able to make enough to cover my internet bill and not have to buy any Lindens from my half... Jell would like to be able to cover her shoe expenses...

So more to come on that when we roll out the official marketing campaign, for now we are content to just wade into the waters through word of mouth. If you are interested in requesting our services, then feel free to contact either Jelly or myself in world.

Happy Humptastical Wednesday!

Is it Wednesday already? Jinkies! I feel like I'm missing out on so many things. I miss DJ'n & hearing Hawks DJ. I heard from my little Buttercup that he spoke on air last night during his set at Clockwork. Damn it! I missed it! :'( But Wuwu! Go you Babe! I also heard it was a blast! I can't wait til I can make it to a Tuesday set, or an Anti-Monday.

Anyroo, yesterday we [Hawks & I] were standing beach side to film an SLSA film for Portia Roelofs & crew. Talk about a good time! Wowzers! Party waves, gorgeous beach locations, awesome surf, and even better surfers! It was a lot of fun. Hawks & I will [hopefully] have the film edited & uploaded for everyone tomorrow.

P.s. When I grow up I wanna get me a sim too!

Happy Bloomin' Tuesday!

I don't care what any one says... The sun was shining thru the gloomy clouds, birds were chirpin, & angels sung as I opened my eyes today, okay so mayhaps it was a dream I had just before my alarm went off at 630 a.m. Whatever. Nothing and I mean nothing is going to bring me down today. Not whispers of scandals, not credit lines being down, not chauvinistic pigs that think a girl can't pick wiper blades, not the fact that SL cannot currently log me in, nothing!

I do however have some bad news. Hawks & I will not be dj'ing at Clockwork tonight. :( We both have RL obligations that we have to attend to. Hopefully we'll be back there next week doing our groove thang.

Okay a few things to cover...

Welcome back Wrath. You were completely & tote missed. Glad to see you back to bloggity blogging. Will you be joining me & Hawks in Professor B's class? :D

Tiny Empires - I've thrown it out there... I'm looking for *our* Kingdom name. I asked everyone to drop me a notecard with what they think we should go with. I'm sorta leaning towards The Kingdom of Mayhapsibly (sounds positive, upbeat & like anything can happen & be achieved). :p

Stay Video - I posted way back when that I wanted to do a video for "Stay" by Lisa Loeb, I haven't chucked this idea yet. I'm still working out how I want to get it done. I put off stuff to get the JH Report done but now I think I can work on this. With Hawks getting his machinima feet I think we'll be able to do more now.

Okay I officially think I give up on logging in.

Casting Call & SWR Video Update

Hey Everybody! We were working with the video earlier, and unfortunately we have a few things that are not making the vid look as hot as it could look. We have issues with a few people being bald, black outfits are blending into the backdrop, and several people are showing typing animations instead of dancing.

We would like to ask your help to reshoot the video at 11:00 am on Sunday 10/14 SL time. Please show up and bring as many friends as you can into the sim. If you are not available at that time, we totally understand and are sorry if you don't make it into the final vid.

A few things that will help us get things moving quickly:
1) Avoid wearing black clothing - brights will show up better.
2) We will let you know when we start actually filming, at that point please either avoid typing or else use a "/" in front of your text to stop the typing animation.
3) We will do a spot check on the rezzing, and may ask you to rebake textures prior to starting.

We will try to get everybody in and out as quick as possible, and we greatly appreciate your understanding as we strive to make this as rocking a vid as possible.

Let us know here or inworld. I'll be passing this out on a notecard to everyone who showed today. Thanks again. Mwah!

If you were in the cast of the Grinspoon video, you know it really doesn't take that long. It won't take more than 30 min tops I would think. I appreciate all the response. We'll need guys as well. What you need to do for video:

• Be able for me to IM/TP you between 3-4 p.m. SLT tomorrow (Saturday)
• Wear club-attire
• Turn your AO, ZHAO or whatever off & dance.

So I didn't post at all yesterday... I was busy busy. Okay not like rush rush busy busy but just doing stuffies I wanted to do. Hawks & I got to spend some QT with Myg. This is something we don't get to do very often but when we do, we enjoy every minute of it. So big head hugs to Myg! Thanks for chillaxin with us yesterday.

Heroes Post
Don't cut me! I know I haven't done a Heroes recap for Monday's episode yet. That's because Hawks & I haven't had time to sit down & watch it. So sue us. I'll get it to you by Monday I promise. It'll most likely be written tomorrow after we get a chance to just watch it.

JH Productions - In Between
We are currently working on the Tank Girl video with a twist of lemon & lime. But in between a big video, and by that I mean - scripts, scenes, crazytalk, audacity, major work... I like to throw out lil videos which require little to no huge production. That's where my next post will continue...

Irrational exuberance!

Were we productive? Kinda.
Did we accomplish much? Not really.
Did we crack ourselves up all arvo? Hell yah we did.

So Hawks & I need a sectional sofa for the 3rd floor (our office) at JH Productions. We searched high & low today but couldn't find one we really liked. Mayhaps we're picky. Okay... rephrasing that, mayhaps *Hawks* is really really picky. :p We're looking for a medium sized corner sectional to fit in a cozy corner. Preferably black, deep red or a combo of the two. It must look comfy & not like boxes/prims slapped together. Like a plush sectional couch. Poses are not necessary as we can just add our own. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Okay on to other stuffies still JH Productions related. Actually - pics cause Yay it's done except some minor furnishings.

Water is killing me... slowly

Hawks says, "Drink more water." I say, "Kay, I'll try it." Now I know he's using water to slowly kill me. Today marks day 2 that I have not had one teensy tiny tempting tantalizing taste of Dew. *faints* Okay so I know with sickness comes the "drink plenty of fluids" and "get back in bed" but I feel better today, for reals. I think the drugs are working. Huzzah! Go ahead, throw the confetti, you know you wanna. In all honestly I do believe water helped to break up the gunkies in my sinuses, so yay to that.

Well if Aka ain't just cranking away in her very short inworld time. I went to go check out the build progress today and seriously holy moly that build is huge. Imagine this... 9856 sqm with every inch taken by this build. I'm excited though I'm not exactly sure what they're going for yet. I believe big movie lot. Just tell me where I plop my desk! Hoo!

So I left Acute Care this a.m. with a plethora of feel-better drugs. Yah, they can kick in at anytime now. kkthnx Full blown sinus infection or better known as Bucket O'Snot. Hawt, huh?

Hawk's Tringo + JH Productions
Tringo is set up & fully fuctional. You can find it here: Hawk's Tringo. Building on the ground level has begun on JH Productions. This is Hawks' & Akasha's vision taking shape. As for me, I supervise. It's much bigger than I thought it'd be. I'm not sure my vids warrant such a spectacular build. I'm anxious to see the finished product.

Hawkless Weekend
This is your warning, on top of me not feeling well, I'm now pouty. I'll be Hawkless this weekend. I'm already missing him so I'm sure by Sunday I'll be so anti-people & grawr that you may wanna stay clear. :)

My plan is to do a Random Cheese vid since I haven't done one in quite awhile. As for the idea, I don't have one yet. It's coming.
