Happy Humptastical Wednesday!

Is it Wednesday already? Jinkies! I feel like I'm missing out on so many things. I miss DJ'n & hearing Hawks DJ. I heard from my little Buttercup that he spoke on air last night during his set at Clockwork. Damn it! I missed it! :'( But Wuwu! Go you Babe! I also heard it was a blast! I can't wait til I can make it to a Tuesday set, or an Anti-Monday.

Anyroo, yesterday we [Hawks & I] were standing beach side to film an SLSA film for Portia Roelofs & crew. Talk about a good time! Wowzers! Party waves, gorgeous beach locations, awesome surf, and even better surfers! It was a lot of fun. Hawks & I will [hopefully] have the film edited & uploaded for everyone tomorrow.

P.s. When I grow up I wanna get me a sim too!

Lazy Daze

So my RL schedule hasn't been very nice to me. Seems like when I am inworld, Hawks & I are either catching up, or I'm standing alone somewhere drooling on my shoes wondering what I am *suppose* to be doin.

The good news is YAY! In one month and 2 days I'll be going to see my Akasha in RL for a few days and taking care of some business on the mainland. A lot of things are changin' and well, sometimes we just gotta keep moving forward.

Hawks & I were hired to do a video this week & it looks like we'll be doing it tomorrow. Wuwu! Please remind me to tell Hawks that, thanks. :p [thank you Cierra & Flynn :)]

Other than that, ummm I did actually request Tuesdays off so I could go back to DJ'n, but the big boss apparently felt I should have Fri-Sat instead.

It's starting to look, smell & feel like the holidays...

Blogging Vaca

I know it's so not like me to not blog at least 1-3 times a day. I kinda fell off the mental plains yesterday. Forgive me. So I suppose an uppity update is needed...

Whoop There It Is
The other night me and my girls hootchie'd up - complete with blingtardiness & hit the streets of Varado, or better known as the Block. I'm not sure if I mentioned it but Hawks purchased new machinima editing software & I've procrastinated learning to use it. Orchid being the uber big smert purple thing that she is suggested I shoot video that I wanted to play with. That's just what I did - ghetto style yO. I'm still messing with it, tweaks and self-teaching myself the new transitions, etc. I'll post the train wreck here when it's finished.

Boom Boom Ba
Hawks & I have been working on ideas & filming this for a week now (well the idea part anyways). I love the way it's turning out so far. It's just a matter of working out the animation limitations & capabilities. I'm still using the old software for this video because I'm so not comfy with the new yet. I'm hoping to get this finished today & posted. Cross your fingers for me. :D

Tiny Empires
I created a group for our tiny little sliver in the corner of the masses. We're the Tiny Empires - One Step Beyond group. If you need an invite let me or Hawks know. It's been a frustrating morning to say the least. Last night I left my liege for a bribe because we had worked it out that she would be joining me later after the split. I thought I had made a good decision up until my new liege gave up her kingdom to regain her spot in the larger family thus putting all of us back into the huge stew known as Celty. I don't wanna be in Celty. I have big plans for our Empire. Here begins the plotting....

Hula on Hold
Last week I was suppose to start my RL hula lessons & Hawks was taking over my first hour at Clockworks. Well due to some RL stuff going on, I'm going to be putting my hula on hold. I still want Hawks to work my first hour cause I think we make an amazing team. So don't forget to come out on Tuesday to Clockwork for his set followed by mine. :D

Anywho, woke up this a.m. to a folder of skins. Oh my goodness graciousness! Free skin?! Hell Yesh! I was chosen by Charlotte Morellet to receive & give feedback on her ::Soda:: Allison Skins - Beta Test. Wuwu! Not sure why I was chosen exactly. According to the notecard "...have sent this folder to a small number of SL Fashionistas whose opinion I value enough to ask for help testing my new upcoming skin line." Fashionista? Newp that's not me, not anymore. I don't even blog for Fash Blogs. I know ya'll cannot possibly consider this or MGG2SL a Fash Blog, right? Anywho, I never pass up an opportunity to give my opinion, especially when it's asked for. :o

SLBloggers Business Meeting
Yup, we finally made it to one. Hooray! It's really great to sit at a table surrounded by greatness. I was completely star struck. Of course my AO tote makes me look like I have A.D.D or have to pee really bad. I don't think anyone really noticed so I didn't screw with it. :D So like things were talked about, stuff was decided & yada yada yada. I need to look at the transcripts cause I think the Fritos & Bean Dip made me forget stuffs. That's my excuse anyways or it coulda been Hawks cracking me up in Skype. Iunno.

Gamble Everything For Love...
Hawks & I may have taken time off from the JH Report but we did start on a music video. This idea popped in my head & it like really made sense and stuff. Those are the bestest brain farts. We started filming the music video tonight and I woulda tote been done slapping it together had we shot enough footage for the song. We'll try again tommorrow to get it done. We just ran out of time tonight. Only like a minute more or somethin, iunno. I'm tired & I think that's what it said. :p

To Buy or Not to Buy
So Annia, our neighbor in Mignon that faces our Wildmutt land, or we face her mayhaps, has decided to start selling off plots near our home. The one directly in front seems safe, for now anyways. That's the one if any that I would want us to own. It won't help us prim-wise being that it's not in the same sim but if buying it would preserve the waterfront view, I'm all for it. I am leary though since she hasn't posted any prices or set any of it for sale and we know that she paid a crazy stupid amount for it. She just has these pink boxes scattered with a notecard inside...
