Remembering September 11th

It's been 6 years since America was attacked that fateful day. Last year I blogged my story, this year I won't. Instead I would like to say always remember - there are still men & women kept away from their families for 15+ months at a time, many of which volunteer to fight for our country overseas in foreign lands, for our freedom. My world is different than most, every day I know what terrorist threat level we're at every time I walk into a store or drive through my gates. I see fresh privates practicing drills as they prepare to deploy as I drive down my streets. Through my back door I see units patrol my streets with guns walking in formation preparing for the real deal. This is my reality and a lot of others that live in a military world/community. Today our flags fly at half mass and memorials are being held all over the world. Always remember 9/11

Jelly - I thought about posting my own story, which includes losing one of my oldest friends on this day 6 years ago. In some ways, it's still too painful for me to write/talk about :/ Thanks for writing about it.

If you ask any European where he was that day or how he felt, they all remember.
Our hearts are with the families and friends of the victims.
We will never forget 911, and we shouldn't.
