The busy mode message isn't rude - its random. If it were to say something like "You're a twat waffle and I hope you choke on a latte from Starbucks while reading perezhilton.com" then I could see where it might MIGHT be rude.
Makes me want to change my busy message to "Oh you IMd me and instead of just saying 'lol' over and over and pretending I'm paying attention to you ... I wrote this."

Personally, I feel the 'busy' message calls for placing an undue amount of strain on an already otherwise over-burdened customer service support system and therefore... oh, screw it - it's funny as HELL !!! How could that dude keep a straight face while acting all offended?? Too freakin' funny. :-)
I would like to make my away message, after seeing this:
