Maximillion Kleene

Continuing with our exploration of the live music scene, we discovered an exceptional performer, named Maximillion Kleene. We headed over to the Peg Leg Saloon for a night of live music on a whim while searching the event postings for something fun to do. I have to say that this guy jumped right to the top of my list for favorite live acts I have seen so far. Jelly and I really enjoyed the heavily alternative set including Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Bare Naked Ladies, and other original samplings played in an an acoustic format with just Max and his guitar.

The Peg Leg Saloon was hopping with a great crowd in Transylvania. It made for a cozy spot to check out some live music action. I didn't even have to make a blood donation while there... so I can save my neck for another day. Wow, well what can I say. Jelly posted several pics from the surprise party she gave me for my birthday below so I won't mess with putting up more pics, but I did want to express my thanks and appreciation for all the great friends that I have made here on SL. Yes, I was a tad suspicious... mayhaps the large happy birthday banner that rezzed behind the bleacher seating at the Tringo area had something to do with it... :) Not to mention the particles jumping off Jelly every 5 seconds during Tringo... lol. But in the end I have to say that I was still incredibly surprised, because I was expecting something small to happen during our nightly Dreamer Tringo, when in actuality it ended up turning into quite an event.

I want to take a minute and thank those that came:

Mio: Welcome to the other side of noobville, you clean up fairly nice. Keep making Dreamer happy, and you will stay on my good side. Don't break poor Lucy's heart.

Igor: We are old tringo opponents but relatively new on the friendship side of things. I am glad you were able to come, and I have already sent your present off to the cleaners... lol.

Aug: Aug: You are a worthy Tringo opponent, and the king of dropping YouTube urls in the middle of the Tringo matches. Aug: Sure I never actually go look at them, but I still appreciate the fact you are so eager to share!

Rosie: I am just now feeling like we are getting to know each other well, and I really look forward to seeing our friendship continue to grow.

Map: Appreciate the appearance, and as long as you continue to treat Heaven well then you will score highly in my book.

Amanda: Thrilled you could make it, and dancing with Haos should score you some sort of hazard pay. I will always treasure your friendship, and I want us to stay close. The poem goes in my things to keep forever folder. :)

Heaven: Thank you for all the great moments we have shared, and for the tremendous friendship we will always have. Dancing with a "ruthed" Haos should score you more than hazard pay, I am thinking some sort of medal of honor for courageous actions above and beyond the call of duty or something.

Haos: I have always enjoyed our sparring matches, and valued your friendship. I am glad that I am staying in contact with you in the post BA world, let's keep it up. You really gotta work on your groove thing though, poor miss Streeter is probably still wallowing out there.

Kala: What can I say? You have one of the most bubbly cheerful personalities I have encountered in SL, and you help bring a smile to everybody's face. Don't change ... I expect you to still have that vibrant personality when you are 85 years old. Just think of how many shoe jokes you can think up between now and then.

Joker: Over a very short time, you have gotten to be one of my closest friends. I am glad that Tringo and Kala introduced us to each other. Your a little nuts bro, but a good friend through and through. Sorry if I kept you from breaking in the laptop properly...

Dreamer: I have never seen such quick wit and incredible sarcasm bundled up in such a sweet package. You truly are one of kind, and a treasure to all. I am happy you have found SLove and happiness, you deserve it! You will always be the hostess with the mostess...

Jelly: Ummmm. Wow! What to say. You continue to astound me with your generosity, warmth, and love of life. You still surprised me, even if I was getting suspicious. I am so happy to have found you, and for every day we are able to be together. You are amazing, and truly the Slove of my Slife... We are coming up on 2 months, and they have been awesome! I am kind of competitive, so we need to be sure to beat Eva and Ace so we have a ways to go... :) Mwah, kisses, and thank you so much for bringing in my B-day with a bash...

Special Mahalo to those that were able to come on such short notice. Having ya'll there made it that much more special. I dj'd til stream ate me, then Hawks took over... he spoke! YES! Not once but TWICE while I was there. :o Yummy! We danced, we laughed, we had a great time.

Just posting a couple pics that we took today. We are actually submitting photos to the ETD Poster contest & I have to say, it's kinda hard. I suppose it's not hard for one person but oh gosh. I didn't want to do it without Hawks. So we went & got him some guy ETD hair, but then we had to shop for clothes too. All my clothes & his come from a variety of different places. Not to mention that most of my outfits I'm in consist of pieces from probably 4-8 different outfits. So meeting the poster standard of "Clothes by Last Call, Celestial Studios, ETD, or Canimal" was a bit of a challenge for me and a HUGE task for Hawks. I think we managed pretty darn well. MG Wedding #2 - Lala & Jon

Today marks the day we've all been waiting for 8 months in the making. Were we prepared? Not completely but damn it, we were ready! :D Today fellow Mean Girl & one of my closest friends (seriously I want to suck her face) Lala & her long time fiance, Jon tied the knot Vegas style at Virtual Games Inc. HQ in Cottonwood. A casino, no doubt.

It was uber early for me and by that I mean, fuck me woman I wasn't even 5 minutes out of bed. Now thats uber wub right there if there is any. Hawks was there as *my* Elvis in the wedding watcher crowd, while Aka, Rosie & myself stood at the altar show girl style.

It was a beautiful wedding. Simply beautiful... *wipes tear* What people didn't see was the text molestation going on in the MG group chat window. Gah! Can't a girl remove her wedgy without getting an immediate re-wedgy from Aka? Apparently, the answer is no. :p

Congrats Bitch! I love you! I suppose... you too Jon. :D

Oh I'm kinkeh, didn't I tell ya? So on these new (DN) Vogue Skin Demos - Cashmere apparently you can mod your pubic hair color to match the curtains/drapes/mini blinds/window tint/what-the-fook ever. Ummm but how? Say I wanted a pink muff, how the hell do I go about that? Appearance mode obviously but what sliders & where? Not that I need a pink muff, cause I shave & I'm no where near growing out of bounds but ummm... I'm a blogger & I have questions that need answers! Halp!

Lala's Wedding Tomorrow
After an 8 month engagement, we're ready eddy eddy! Rosie was last to get her bride's maid outfit so as soon as she did we went wild & crazy. "I will pea your cawk", I mean... huh? I am hoping to film but I'm not sure if I am that good of a multi-tasker like Phobos. I'll be playing the part of Maid of Honor, DJ & hopefully machinima'er (is that a word? It is now). We sorta kinda rehearsed tonight, okay so not really but I completely made out with Rosie & Lala. That's allowed, right? Well okay it wasn't full blown, shup! More like soft porn. It's all over our Zilla. Poor Lala kept crashing. :( No worries though, we are prepared and ready for this Casino wedding of the century!

Ladies Night of Mayhem
After we went over wedding stuffs it was time to break out of the secret identities and have some good old-fashioned toilet-papering good times. We were going to tp Truth Hawks' place but figured he'd have very little sense of humor (he apparently lost that months ago) lol. So we headed straight to Kaejo DaSilva's pad. We did our dirty work there til we ran out of prims. Then we planned a sneak attack on Zabitan Assia at his pad. At least they both laughed, sorta. We had fun and that matters the most. Haha! Sometimes Hawk's just shouldn't leave me alone with those three. :p
We tried to teleport Davo in for an ambush but meh. He refused to take the teleport. No fun, I tell ya, no fun. I did manage to get some good footage, I think. I'll mess with it tomorrow, err today, errr later. Jeepers! I'm thinking... POW! BAM! WHAM!

Ready... Set... GO GO GO

Hawk's Tringo officially opened for business this week. I had been hosting a few games here and there as we got set up, but now we are rolling out the real deal by adding additional hosts. I was able to snag the cream of the crop from Bad Azz to come over to host, so at this point we have on the team:

Amanda Maersk, Heaven Larsen, Kala Wildcat, Snailhead Marathon, Kaisaa Kongo, and of course Dreamer Demontrond. There are few other people who have expressed interest, so we are well on our way to being able to provide some consistent Tringo action.

For the most part everything has gone very smooth, in the last 3 days we have racked up just under 5,000 in traffic, so that speaks to the size of crowds we have been having. There was one, ohhh minor inconvenience you might say... when a certain pink persona decided to deed the land over to the host group so that the land will show up for the hosts when posting the event. The only issue with this was that it dropped us from having a surplus of 1k prims to being over by about 1k prims. The system corrected for this overage by auto-returning a few small things like, say.... a few dance balls, several trees, all the bleachers the people were sitting on, and the entire floor of the place!! I hate to guess how many poor AV's lost their lives that day when taking the teleport button only to find themselves standing at 600M's up with no floor, at which point they promptly plummeted to their deaths. We are taking up a fund to set up a memorial to those poor unfortunate souls, who thought they were coming to enjoy a little Tringo, only to become so much pancake smatterings. Thank the powers that be that Aka was able to come quickly to the rescue and keep the body count at least minimal. Thanks again Aka!!
