So Wildmutt is still for sale. BUY IT! kkthnx. We have set roots (9216 sqm) in a happy place right on the beach with the tier from the partial sale. We're hoping to buy the plots next to us in the new sim to build up what we had before. The neighbors we have at the moment are far enough away that it doesn't matter that they're gay french/dutch age-playing guys who have orgies and walk around naked with lil winkies. Besides... that's entertainment. It could be worse, they could be shouting blingtards with artillery. Silver lining, people, silver lining.

Laylah "Bewbs" FINALLY gets new boots.
Yes, you heard it here first folks. Haha! I'm sure if it wasn't for Wrath's unexpected absence I would have totally been scooped by The Inside Scoop®. Luckily for me I got the story first. Though we did find her Shiny Things Old Lace Up Boots fashionable for awhile, they did begin to stink and I suspect that there was fromunda cheese growing in between her toes. Everyone can finally take a deep breath (literally) now to know that she has bought FORM Klunks.

WeatherSystem 1.20
I'm not a huge fan, or err, a fan at all of the Collection Damani pre-fabs because the alphas drive me up the farking wall. However the man (Damanios Thetan) is a bleepin genius. After Hawks wrote his 101 Ways to Woo, I thought "Wow time to step up my game" in case he plans on whipping any of those out soon. Wooage retaliation tactics. Check! Check! We've already discussed setting the mood with music, but what about weather? Who doesn't love a little Metisse - Boom Boom Ba with some local lighting while the rain slides slowly down the window glass? Eep! Lost myself for a second. (song at bottom). Sl doesn't give us choice (yet) so let me introduce you to damani FX - WeatherSystem. Ever wanted to experience a heavy thunderstorm at night in SL, or that slight drizzle of a lonely day. With the WeatherSystem, you can. Offering rain, snow, thunder & lightning, you now control the weather. Check it out - it's well worth the L.

Hot Spots for Bored Moments
If you haven't heard about it yet, you've been living under a rock. It's been a few months since I first blogged about Epic Conditions Surf in the Weather Channel sims (Epic Conditions Surf, Ski, & Bike). I went back the other day & found it to be an even more awesome experience. It seems the hype has died, and there's no more fighting for waves. There was only one other girl in the line up with me and as always the surf kept pounding us & giving us the epic wave conditions we came for. The surfboards are free on the beach. You just drop, hop on & goooo. Paddle, paddle, duck, paddle, sit, paddle, ride! See? Easy peasy!

Next is the new Straylight sim. It's a strikingly beautiful botanical sim filled with sculpted trees and water by Kriss Lehmann (3D Sculpted prim designer) that created these gorgeous trees with prim/particle foliage. When you go, be sure to stop & see the sculpted water. Not all of the water is sculpted but the streams that are, are extraordinary. I've seen some great sims but this one has definitely made it into my top 5. Unfortunately the sim is no build so you cannot plan a romantical picnic under one of it's many shaded areas. The silver lining to that dark cloud is the fact that all the trees, lighting & water are for sale. All you have to do is follow the paths to the center of the sim. You can take some home & build your own botanical romantical atmosphere. Oh yes, and take caution, a lot of the mainstream designers are running around like elves, fairies & half furries there at the moment. Please don't poke the nature folk.

We've sold 6,798 square meters. Yay us! Sadly we still have 17232 square meters still left to sell until we can move to our new dream land. Wish us Gluck!

So as I catch up with all the blogs, drama, lynch mobs & scandals after the honeymoon... That one line caught my eye, so it became my title. Haha! OMGWTFBBQ! Scandal? In SL, really? Drama is everywhere... here's my favorite definition:
The Five Signs of DRAMA:
1. If you only listen to one side of a story, and then form your opinion, you might be a DRAMA member.

NO BEAN LEFT BEHIND
Here it is day 2 of voice in the main grid & *I* still don't have it. Anyone else feel the irony of this? I'm like the biggest voice supporter between me & Hawks, and who gets voice? Hawks!!! He doesn't even want it. Lmao So, here's what I think the issue is & I'm going to test my theory tonight... I believe it's because I have 2 soundcards (onboard & external) for dual dj'ing on one stream. Tonight I'm going to pop one of those suckers out & see if that works. I'm tired of not being able to eavesdrop, I mean converse with others. Tote. Wish me gluck! Ya'll won't be able to shut me up. Just ask Hawks. :p

Flickr & Snapzilla
Yay! I get it now. Thanks to all ya'll that helped me finger it out. You Rock! Oh yes, you really do! Gold stars for everyone! My Flickr stream is here if ya wanna add me. I do like the organizing, tagging & edit features over Snapzilla. Eventually Cristiano has plans of the upgrade but it is taking forever. So for now I'll send the special ones to Flickr & the run of the mill hangage ones to the Zilla.
Recent changes to Snapzilla: On Wed, August 1st, Linden Lab changed the postcard format to increase picture quality and size. Previously, no matter what your settings in SL, all postcards came out a fixed size (40X480 or so). Now, the resolution and quality settings are not ignored - the postcard images will come through in the resolution and quality that you pick. This results in much higher resolution images, without the annoying JPEG blur on them. is This also means dramatically increased storage and bandwidth requirements for me, and a change in how picture are displayed on the site to accommodate larger sizes. Please bear with me while I adapt the site to these changes. ~Cristiano
He has also removed the star ratings and in my opinion that's fucking awesome. I saw it used more for vindictiveness than for good & I think people can now live without fear of 1-star rater stalkage.

Post-Honeymoon
I have to say that I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. I did miss blogging so much and when Hawks wasn't on, I did venture off our little slice of heaven but not too far. During the time he wasn't on, I was pretty occupied with my current RL stuffs so it was nice to fall into each other's arms when we both logged in after a long day. We did some fun getting to know each other better things & I just have one thing to say: I am so lucky to have married one smart & sexy man. :D Oh yah and yay for randomness... ha!

Goodbye Wildmutt
We've put our two parcels for up for sale in Wildmutt. One is on the corner of three sims (Mignon, Wellard & Lassie) and the other (our garden area) was more inland but still borders the Mignon simline. We decided that together Hawks & I would like to shop, and purchase a new place for just us to include water & all the sports that go with. :D We may settle for smaller as I believe we have almost 19000+ sqm in Wildmutt alone. I think we found where we wanna be, it's just a matter of getting there before it's gone.

Our sim is gone...
Hour two and Wildmutt is still an abyss. I could sit here & state the obvious of Hawks breaking it and stuff but instead I'll just whine & complain that I wanna go home & there's NO FUCKING LIVE HELP! Who the hell do we turn to when your SL husband crashes the sim & it doesn't come right back? LOL. Do not even get me started on the Jira, Wiki or wtf ever else they have. I want a live person RIGHT NOW giving me an eta on my home.

And is there a Linden online? Oh hell nah. How do I know? I im'd every single one, I think. Well most of them, but all went to offlines. Seriously customer service has gone to hell. I'm not one to make waves or anything. heh. So our neighbors are probably sitting over there "jajaja"ing away while we're homeless in Wildmutt.

We did manage to find other things outside our home to do. Including molesting the new photo booth in Tableau. Haha Rosie showed up just in time, otherwise Hawks prob woulda kept me in the booth longer! Seriously! "OHH NO, I DID NOT!!! Miss breaker of things by prematurely jumping off photobooths and assorted other infractions, that cannot go named before the population at large..."

Thank goodness for second homes. Still waiting for Wildmutt and it better not have eaten any of my shit!

Through my window...

It's time I finally blog something. I blogged before that our neighbor was selling her land. We tried to persuade friends to buy it but sadly none of them had much of a chance before Zurixon Yamauba & Pop1280 Saule got it. Annia Dreier is still a huge owner in the land, owning much of the groups that now inhabit the land she had for sale. She was nice enough to terraform the land to water directly in front of us. Just across that water now though is one ugly club.

It could be worse, it could be a casino. This is pretty crappy though. I have thought about turning down draw distance (you can see it even at 100 dd) but bah, I shouldn't have to. Yesterday my computer was given brand spanking new 2.50 GB of RAM and is so farking bad ass now. *licks her computer* So turning down my draw would be so defeating the purpose of building up my SL computer and I'd probably still see the club. To quote Aka, "Akasha Nyak: blingtard city over there". Pretty much, yup.

They have every right to do whatever they want with the land, even if that includes building the laggiest, crappiest, ugliest club ever. That should be of no concern to me. What does concern me is them wandering over from crapptastic club Calamaro Planet onto our land. This morning when I logged in all of our "hidden" balls were showing & there was a couple making out on our porch. Uhh Hello?! This is no flop house, well okay, it's not a flop house for them! Aka & Rosie are diff, I like to watch. lol. I thought about it long & hard before I decided to make our land group access only. Okay it didn't take all that long really because within minutes of ejecting & banning the couple, another one appeared.

*Sigh* I hate ban lines but I tried to explain to the land owners that we're on 2 different sims, and this is our private home, not a business, there should be no reason for their club patrons to come over here for quiet alone time. There's still that language barrier, let's hope she understands. After speaking to her, all I got was "Annia Dreier: jjaja, rigttt jelly". So mayhaps instead of dealing with her, I can get diplomatic Hawks to do it? Mwah Babe.

Anywho, woke up this a.m. to a folder of skins. Oh my goodness graciousness! Free skin?! Hell Yesh! I was chosen by Charlotte Morellet to receive & give feedback on her ::Soda:: Allison Skins - Beta Test. Wuwu! Not sure why I was chosen exactly. According to the notecard "...have sent this folder to a small number of SL Fashionistas whose opinion I value enough to ask for help testing my new upcoming skin line." Fashionista? Newp that's not me, not anymore. I don't even blog for Fash Blogs. I know ya'll cannot possibly consider this or MGG2SL a Fash Blog, right? Anywho, I never pass up an opportunity to give my opinion, especially when it's asked for. :o

SLBloggers Business Meeting
Yup, we finally made it to one. Hooray! It's really great to sit at a table surrounded by greatness. I was completely star struck. Of course my AO tote makes me look like I have A.D.D or have to pee really bad. I don't think anyone really noticed so I didn't screw with it. :D So like things were talked about, stuff was decided & yada yada yada. I need to look at the transcripts cause I think the Fritos & Bean Dip made me forget stuffs. That's my excuse anyways or it coulda been Hawks cracking me up in Skype. Iunno.

Gamble Everything For Love...
Hawks & I may have taken time off from the JH Report but we did start on a music video. This idea popped in my head & it like really made sense and stuff. Those are the bestest brain farts. We started filming the music video tonight and I woulda tote been done slapping it together had we shot enough footage for the song. We'll try again tommorrow to get it done. We just ran out of time tonight. Only like a minute more or somethin, iunno. I'm tired & I think that's what it said. :p

To Buy or Not to Buy
So Annia, our neighbor in Mignon that faces our Wildmutt land, or we face her mayhaps, has decided to start selling off plots near our home. The one directly in front seems safe, for now anyways. That's the one if any that I would want us to own. It won't help us prim-wise being that it's not in the same sim but if buying it would preserve the waterfront view, I'm all for it. I am leary though since she hasn't posted any prices or set any of it for sale and we know that she paid a crazy stupid amount for it. She just has these pink boxes scattered with a notecard inside...

How to be neighborly...

In my quest to buy up all of Wildmutt, I was too slow on the SouthEast side and we ended up with a new neighbor, Kryss Robbiani. He bought up the 1536 sqm that I had my eye on. I figured I might as well be nice as he had no idea of my plans of Wildmutt domination when he purchased his plot. So just like the neighbors in the past, I baked him cookies sprinkled with wub and minus the mean message. I carried them over & introduced myself. He's nice though his english seems fairly limited. His build isn't so bad either to be against our garden. Thank goodness graciousness!

In return he gave us a potted Wisteria Sinensis - Lilac Blue - ball topiary1 from the Heart Garden Centre. That was sweet of him. I think he'll be one of those hassle free, quiet neighbors. Hopefully he can handle one of our tank wars or wandie drops. Hell, he may even get an invite. :D

Good Morning Wildmutt!

I logged in this morning to not seeing the concrete house. Our neighbor removed it & left me a nice offline. I had to translate it but in the end she says we were right & that she was sorry. Not sure I wanted to be told I was right, and she has no reason to be sorry. If she liked the house & wanted it there we really have no right to tell her what she can do with her land. I was looking for more of a compromise than a dictation. For all we know she could be looking for a better neighborhood themed house. In any case, we have the beach view back, for now. Gracias mucho Dpende. It kinda shows how hard the language barrier is sometimes though. :)

Diplomacy - Wildmutt & Mignon

I can't say that I am very good at tact. I had a professor teaching me once. He quit. Haha! So I thought it would be best if Hawks tried talking to the neighbor. That didn't go so well, because she didn't respond. I wonder if there is a Spanish speaking doctor in the house? Just kidding, but I think we may need a translator soon.

I sent her an IM (plays the mouth piece) with suggestions on how to speak to her from Hawks. Let's see how well babelfish translates this:

Nah, he really didn't but someone with the same icky house taste did. Enough people know my feelings behind that house so I won't go into detail. This isn't about Truth anyways, but "people" feel free to lead him here so he knows he was mentioned. Ha!

Okay what to say? What to say? How about if it isn't bad enough to have a house dropped in front of your doorstep, how about one that looks like a car dealership? Seriously throw some slow spinning shiny cars inside on both sides of that build, mayhaps some colorful flags on string, and completely festoon the place... Viola! Ed's Cheap New & Used Cars for Less! Buy Here! Good Credit! Bad Credit! No Credit! No problem! Ack!

So yes, this is what I logged into this morning. The owner(s) on that side own a total of 37,904 sqm in the Mignon sim. We are on the Wildmutt simline with our piddly 16,096 sqm facing their sim. You'd *think* that with all that land (most being direct waterfront) that they could find mayhaps a better area to set this metal/glass house up at... But noooooooo! I get to look at a stainless steel fireplace pipe as I log in.

Now I kinda wish the shitty wall was back, at least I could see beyond it without camming straight up. Saddest part is that it is so freaking close to the house, that turning draw distance down isn't going to help avoid seeing it. We could, as Hawks said to me earlier, set our DD to 50m and still see it. Grawr! Ack! Bleh! Someday we will own all of Wildmutt and build huge fortress walls where we shoot boulders from catapults, cannon ducks & spit balls at ugly houses of neighbors! I HAVE A DREAM!
